Remember the fuel perks deal on cereal at Giant Eagle a few weeks ago? I took full advantage of this deal by stocking up on 44 boxes of cereal! I paid only $87 for everything in the picture above and I scored $2.60 in fuel perks! This deal turned out to be better than expected for me because several of the boxes had coupons inside adding up to over $26 in savings, and others had toys inside. Anyways, we saved our fuel perks until we had $3.20 worth and here’s what we paid at the pump today.
We paid $3.48 for 29.2 gallons of gas! We saved over $93! This is a great example of how you can buy the things you need at a great price and save money on other things too.
